Dr. John Gainer

Dr. Gainer has provided a full range of clinical assessment and treatment services in both hospital and private practice for over 40 years in Cape Breton. As a graduate of McGill University, with a doctorate in psychology, he received his primary clinical training at the Allen Memorial Institute of Psychiatry in Montreal. With a commitment to regular continuing education throughout his career, and the invaluable lessons learned from his many patients, Dr. Gainer maintains a strong, diverse and evidence-based practice.
